Get started with the friendliest social tennis on the Gold Coast
Welcome to the social heart of Tweed Tennis Club, where camaraderie and friendly competition come together on our pristine synthetic grass courts.
Our social tennis sessions are a wonderful opportunity for players of varying levels to enjoy the game, meet new people, and immerse themselves in the vibrant community spirit of our club. Whether you're looking for a leisurely match or a bit more of a challenge, there's something for everyone.
If you have played tennis in the past, but not for many years, our social sessions offer a great way to play at your own pace, ease back into tennis and gradually regain your old form. Voyager Tennis can provide refresher coaching if desired.
Come join us for a delightful blend of sport, relaxation, and social interaction. There is no cost for your first visit, just come along and try it out.

Mid Week Night Social Tennis
Note: the club intends to introduce a mid-week night social session in the future. At present there is an issue with unserviceable light poles on the synthetic grass courts. Tweed Shire Council is undertaking rectification and upgrade to LED standard, completion date currently unknown.
Sunday Afternoon Social Tennis
The club is considering introducing a Sunday afternoon social session if the demand from the public warrants it. The time period would be approx 2:30 to 5:30 and playing arrangements and fees would be similar to weekday social sessions. All standards would be welcome including families. If you may be interested, could you advise by filling out the ‘Contact’ section and sending it in please.
Spend More Time Playing
Everyone is Welcome
With 10 synthetic grass courts in use, we ensure you spend more time playing and less time waiting around.
During the occasional break, relax with a cup of tea or coffee, enjoy a biscuit, and have a chat while taking in the lovely views from the Old Clubhouse verandahs.
We warmly welcome new players and celebrate the diversity they bring to our club. Join us for some enjoyable and friendly tennis!
